Darla M. Kirkendall passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, in Charleston, OR. She was surrounded by all her family.

Darla was born on March 19, 1952, to parents Jiggs and Nellie (Newlun) Bushnell.

She married Alvin “Ted” Kirkendall on September 16, 1972. They were blessed with two children and three grandchildren.

Darla was preceded in death by her parents Jiggs and Nellie Bushnell; sister Anita Marie; brother Darrell Bushnell.

She is survived by her husband Ted; daughter Carla Roemen (Aaron); son Dale Kirkendall (Chris); grandchildren Dillon, Jordan and Mahalani; sisters Linda Thrush, Patty Carnine, Melody Bushnell and Kitti Dicke (Kevin); special sister Caralyn Northcraft (Bob); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Tenmile Cemetery. There will be a potluck after at Tenmile Clubhouse by Tenmile School.
