She had been a resident of Barbour County Good Samaritan Center in Belington since June 9 and previously had been a resident of Colonial Place in Elkins.
Margie was a loving wife, mother and friend and leaves a testimony of trusting Jesus.
She was born May 27, 1923, at Elkins, a daughter of the late Earle Dennis Bonner and Mary Jane Carr Bonner.
On May 20, 1939, at Hambleton, she was married to Ola James Jr., who preceded her in death June 29, 2006.
They shared their love and life together for more than 67 years and are now together again in heaven.
Surviving is one son, Denver William James of Mogadore, Ohio.
Preceding her in death were a daughter, Trudy Ann James; four brothers, Lorenzo, Harold, Ray and Denver Bonner; and one sister, Chloe Howell.
Mrs. James was retired from Hardee’s of Elkins after 15 years of service.
She was an outreach partner with the Ernest Angley Ministries of Akron, Ohio.
Margie enjoyed serving the Lord through prayer, fasting and living in the word.
She enjoyed praising the Lord through playing the guitar and singing gospel songs.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the care that Margie received while a resident of Colonial Place and Barbour County Good Samaritan Center.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday at New Life Fellowship Church at Glenmore.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, from the church with Pastor Gloria Roy officiating.
Interment will follow at the Mouse Cemetery at Harpertown.
