Mrs. Hannah L. West, 81, of Ball Ground passed away Monday, May 30, 2016.



Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Allen and Rev. Nathan Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.



Mrs. West was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed birds, plants, gardening, cooking and most of all loved being with her family.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Talmadge West; son-in-law, Michael Tucker; parents, Clifford and Edith Reece; stepmother, Mary Jane Reece; brothers, James Reece and J.W. Rogers; and sister, Imogene Carver.

Survivors include her children, Barry (Teri) West, Kenny (Shelby) West, Kathy (Bobby) McFarland, Vicky Tucker, Tim (Lisa) West and Tracy (Dwayne) Appling; brothers, J.D. Reece and Marion Reece; sisters, Clora Mae Benefield, Joyce Harris and Betty Harris; 17 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a great host of nieces, nephews and friends.
