She was employed as a bookkeeper by the former Walther's Furniture and Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. She retired in 1978.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry and John Schwab, of Cape Girardeau; a brother, William Jarosik of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4 - 8 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with Monsignor Richard Rolwing officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
