Norma, 88, of Holt, Michigan, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Kella and Iva (Hostetler) Stamper.
Norma met her husband, George "Stan" Davies, in Junior High, knew him for 68 years and was married to him for 63 years. While he was serving in the Navy during WWII, Norma wrote him a letter every day that he was gone. She and her husband enjoyed traveling extensively and spending time on their boat. Norma was a member of the Altrusa Club.
She is survived by her children, Sylvia Wood of Mason and Britt (Linda) Davies of Leesburg, Florida; 2 grandchildren, Darcy Mitchell (Michael Griffin) and Scott (Kally) Davies; 3 great grandchildren, Mitchell West, Faith Davies, and Hannah Davies.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, George "Stan" Davies in 2009 and granddaughter, Amanda Davies.
Funeral services were held at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel on Thursday, June 2, 2016. Burial was on Friday at Deepdale Memorial Gardens.
