MARK ANTHONY JAMISON, age 55, of (Bentleyville) Garrison, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at his home after an extended illness.
Mark was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, October 9, 1960, to the late Pearl Jamison and Etta Edna Ervin Jamison of Garrison, Kentucky.
Mark was a former laborer with Laborer Local 1445 for 33 years. Also, past owner and operator of Jamison Pressure Cleaning.
Surviving is his wife of 35 years whom he married December 6, 1980 in Vanceburg, Kentucky, Donna K. Cole Jamison.
Four daughters- Tonya K. (Curtis) Brewer and Kala D. (Eric) Switzer, both of Black Oak, Kentucky. Amanda J. Jamison and her companion Justin Medina of Grosse Isle, Michigan and Jo Anna N. Jamison and her companion Frankie Witten of Garrison, Kentucky.
Grandchildren- Kaylee and Jamison Switzer, Granger and Greyson Hampton, Grant Brewer and baby Witten who is due in November 2016.
Preceding him in death besides his father, Pearl Jamison, his brother, Dennis Jamison and twin granddaughters, Reagan and Ryleigh Witten.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 2nd from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 2nd Street, Vanceburg, Kentucky, 41179.
Funeral service will be June 2nd, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home with Brother Tim Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Skidmore Cemetery, Garrison, Kentucky.
Pallbearers for Mr. Jamison will be Eric Switzer, Curtis Brewer, Frankie Witten, Justin Medina, Christopher Savage and Dennis Jamison.
