Marilyn Osborne Thomson, 79, of Ashton, died Monday, May 30, 2016, at her home of natural causes.
She was born August 4, 1936, in Ashton to Leonard and Violet Osborne.
She attended school in Ashton and graduated from North Fremont High School.
She married Wayne Thomson, on April 13, 1958, in Teton, Idaho. They made their home, and raised their four children in Ashton.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She liked to knit and do handiwork. She enjoyed raising a garden and canning the produce. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. She loved children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had dogs and liked their company.
She is survived by her children: Danny Thomson, of Rexburg, Terry (Dashia) Thomson, of Teton, Susie (Lorenzo) Perez, of St. Anthony, and Corbit (Eliza) Thomson, of Soda Springs; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; and brother, Melvin Osborne.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3, at Baxter Funeral Home, 717 Main Street, in Ashton, with Bishop Jim Jorgensen of the Ashton 2nd Ward officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services.
Interment will be in the Pineview Cemetery.
