Sade Colman, with her husband Alex, was the co-founder of Alex Colman Sportswear. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a master's degree in mathematics and retailing in 1928, Mrs. Colman became a buyer at Bamberger's Department Store in New Jersey.
