MISHICOT
Last Saturday evening, April 3, the Angel of Death took away
Christian Braker(sic). Mr. Braker was born in this town 40 years
ago on the farm where he resided until his death claimed him. He
was married to Miss Molly Spang 16 years ago. Mr. Braker was ill
for about one week. Tuesday afternoon the remains were taken from
the Braker home to the St. Peter’s Lutheran church. The deceased
is survived by a wife, an aged mother, three sisters and one
brother. Mr. Braker was a man of sterling character and the
community will miss him.

CHRISTIAN BROECKER
After an illness of only about one week Christ Broecker of the Town of Mishicot passed away at his home Saturday evening. The cause of his death was kidney trouble. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the Lutheran church at Mishicot, Rev. Zell officiating. Mr. Broecker was born in the Town of Two Rivers in 1874. His father, Fred Broecker died 21 years ago. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. G. Trottman and his wife, nee Amelia Sprang. He was an industrious and upright man and his sudden death is a hard blow to those who mourn his loss.
