FARMINGTON - Caswell “Casey” Dana Gray, 73, passed away on May 22, 2012 at the Sandy River Nursing Home in Farmington due to complications from Parkinsons Disease.

He was born on March 15, 1939 in Addison, Maine, the son of Clarence B. and Rose (Dorr) Gray. He graduated in 1957 from Addison High School Addison, Maine and Washington State Teachers College at Machias, Maine He taught school in Lamoine for a few years. He moved to Wilton for a short time and had lived in Livermore Falls for the past 30 years. He worked in the office at the International Paper Mill for 32 years, retiring from there in 2001. He loved to go out to eat with his friends and was a big Red Sox fan. He loved his cat “Buddy.”

He is survived by; two sisters. Mary Hill of Machias and Barbara Dalot of Dryden. He was predeceased by; his parents; brothers, Gordon Dorr, Reginald Gray, Alton Gray, Phil Gray, and Milton Gray; two sisters, Leona Gardner and Marie Chandler. Donations in his memory may be sent to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, 550 Industry Road, Industry, ME 04938-5633.

A private committal service only will be held at a later date. Interment will be at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Kingfield, Maine Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service, 488 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington, ME.
