Tom was born January 7, 1959 in Choteau to Willis and Sharon Coffman. While he was still very young, the family moved to Great Falls and eventually into the house that he and DeeAnn took over and raised their family in. He graduated from CMR and attended college in Bozeman, Missoula and finally, Havre, where he and DeeAnn met. They were married in August of 1983 and after 6 years were blessed with their first child. Four years later, another blessing in the form of a son completed their family. Tom considered his family to be his biggest blessing and enjoyed showing both of his children and somewhat reluctant wife, his love of the outdoors including golfing, fishing, hunting, archery and camping. He was happiest either outdoors or in the kitchen cooking for anyone who would appreciate it.
Tom started working at a young age, but finally started his career with Thomas, Dean, and Hoskins Engineering in 1992 where he made many new friends. Because of his love for having a good time and generous nature he was instrumental in planning an annual company golf day that created many memories and stories to tell.
Tom was very social and found people to visit with as he attended many sporting events at CMR, tailgating with the Great Falls Bobcat boosters, and various Boy Scout events.
He was loved by many and survived by his wife; daughter; son; parents; sister; and brother. He was also loved by many extended family members too numerous to mention.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Wallace and Jeanette Maxwell and paternal grandparents, Elmer and Stella Coffman.
