Mary Catherine Butler Keel, age 68 of North Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Hamlet passed away at her home on Saturday, May 28, 2016.
Mary was a daughter of the late James William “JW” and Myrtle Lee Branton Butler born September 3, 1947 in Marlboro County, South Carolina.She was the loving and devoted wife to Hermas P. Keel, Jr., that passed away in 2014.She was a homemaker and worked as a secretary for Canal Wood.She loved traveling to the beach, shopping and especially sharing time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, a son, Benny Keel (Emily) of Ellerbe; her daughters, Sherry Morse and Michelle Keel both of North Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Bill Butler (Dale) of Jefferson, SC, sister, Dot Rogers also of Jefferson, SC and grandchildren, Josh, Sam, Paige and Taylor.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m.Burial will follow the service in Hillside Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
