Ruby Geraldine “Gerry” Laird McDaniel was born November 22, 1932 in Hornersville, Missouri, to George Curtis and Evelyn Jewel Gauf Laird. She was raised in Missouri and Arkansas. Gerry married John Neal McDaniel October 13, 1951 and he preceded her in death in 2002. They raised six children in a loving home. Mrs. McDaniel was a member of the Northside Church of Christ, loved puzzles, reading, cooking, and blue grass music. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son, Randy McDaniel, brothers, J.R., Lister, and Bill Laird, sisters, Francis Stephens and Marie Laird.
