Born December 4, 1935 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Grady Clifton Blanton and Annie Blanche Pearson Blanton. She was retired from Fiber Industries and was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Hoyle Jackson White; two daughters, Alesa Lattimore of Shelby and Tami Hubbard and husband, Bobby of Polkville; three brothers, Gene Blanton and wife, Joyce Lee of Boiling Springs; Wayne Blanton and wife, Rita of Morganton and Ronnie Blanton and wife, Phyllis of Mooresboro; a sister, Ann Ellis of Gaffney, SC; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Pruett officiating.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park
