Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 1996, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Gibson. Rev. Maurice L. Hoppe will officiate with burial in the Mishicot Public Cemetery.
She was born October 1, 1913, in the town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Joseph and Christian (Herine) Worel. Olive had been a lifelong area resident. She married Alvin Boettcher on August 4, 1937. Mrs. Boettcher enjoyed gardening and raising flowers in her flower beds. She also loved to bake especially baking bread. She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Gibson.
Survivors include her husband, Alvin; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Elaine Posvic of the town of Gibson, whom she made her home with for the past four years, Lorraine and Walter Goessl, Manitowoc, Delores and Edwin Knapp, Hilbert; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Ernest and Karen Boettcher, town of Gibson, Edward and Penny Boettcher, Ohio, Alvin Boettcher Jr., Manitowoc, Gordon and Darlene Boettcher, town of Gibson; 36 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; five step-great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Gladys Maresh, Whitelaw; one sister-in-law, Wilma Anderson, Two Rivers; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, one brother, one son-in-law and four brothers-in-law.
Friends may call at the Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, from 4-8 p.m. on Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church until the time of funeral service.
A memorial has been established in her name for St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Gibson.
