Mrs. Sharon Jean Ferrell of Lakeland died of cancer Saturday (July 1, 2006) at Carpenter's Home Manor. She was 65.
Born in Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Ferrell moved to Lakeland from Gainesville 31 years ago. She worked as secretary of the Counseling Department at Carpenter's Home Church, where she attended church.Mrs. Ferrell is survived by her husband, The Rev. James E. Ferrell; son, Mark Ferrell, McDonough, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
