Jimmy David Conner, known as "J.D," passed away after a long struggle with an ailing illness. He very seldom complained.

He was born in Cotton Plant, Arkansas. He enlisted in the National Guard and was activated during World War II. He served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater, The European-African Middle Easter Theater Campaign.

He was awarded three bronze stars for the Rhineland, Central Europe and Aleutian Island Campaigns, six overseas bars and an American Defense Service Medal.

After release from active duty he married and relocated to Seattle. He worked for the Boeing Company for 30 years and retired from supervisor. He was loved by his family and friends, and was known for his ability to help anyone who really needed it.
