Retired Policeman Richard Carlton Keen, age 72, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, James Carlton Keen.
He is survived by his daughter, ........; mother, Ruby ........; sisters and brother-in-law, Brenda ......., Linda and Sammy .......; brothers, Dennis ......, Gary Keen........; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Keen was born July 21, 1943 in Clarkston, GA. He was a 1961 graduate of Avondale High School and a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a retired Gwinnett County Policeman with fifteen years of service, he also worked for Kimbrough-Keen, Thomaston, GA and his last employment was U.S. Auto Sales in Lawrenceville, GA. He was a private pilot and a private investigator. He was of the Baptist faith.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA with Dr. Jim Ferguson officiating and with military honors.
