Donald Wesley Brumwell, Age 81, of Erskine Minn. passed away Monday 10-6-2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Donny was born on March 12, 1934 in Poplar River Twp. Minn. attended Erskine school, drafted into the U.S. Army in 1957 and served as a mechanical engineer.
Married Ione Ricke in 1962 and had four children (Clyde "deceased", Leslie, Fay and Glen "deceased")
Remarried 1969 to Donna Lee until her death in 2000.
Donny was a mechanical engineer for most of his life with various firms. Enjoyed outdoor photography, Firearms, winning at bingo and couldn't get enough good Westerns.
Donny is survived by his son Leslie of Grafton ND, daughter Fay of Chandler AZ. one granddaughter Danielle and many nieces and nephews.
A prayer service will be held Saturday Oct. 17 2015, 2pm at Saron Lutheran Church outside of Erskine with Pastor Alan Arneson officiating.
