Virginia "Sue" Strong passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016 at her home in Jackson, TN

She was born February 14, 1928 to William E. Cupples and Modeacy Thomas Cupples in Henderson, TN She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a homemaker and attended The Pinson Church of God.

She is survived by one granddaughter, three great grandchildren and two step great grandsons and a host of niece, and nephews, and friends.

She is proceded in death by her parents, William and Modeacy Cupples, siblings, Earl Cupples, Melvin Cupples, Lulene Patterson and Imogene Stallings. Her husband Thomas Strong and their only child, Cathy Strong Stems and granddaughter Charity Dawn Stems.

She was a sweet lady and loved by so many. She will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Visitation for Mrs. Strong will be Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 5-7 p.m., funeral services will be Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel with Bro. James McKinney officiating. Burial to follow at Liberty Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
