Thomas isn't listed in this cemetery, but he isn't listed anywhere else in Trigg County either. It only makes sense that he is buried with his family here.

I received this email from Roger Futrell (#47031293):

I have sent a request to add the parents of Thomas Futrell. I incorrectly identified his parents in my first Futrell book in 1969, but found direct evidence that Thomas (born 1794) was the son of Thomas (1745-1796)and Sarah Futrell before I did my updated book in 2009.

Proof that Thomas (born 1794)was the son of Thomas and Sarah Futrell: The elder Thomas Futrell's 1796 Northampton County, NC will named his infant son Thomas; and son Thomas outlined his ancestry in a Christian Circuit Court lawsuit over a land dispute between himself and his oldest brother Shadrach Futrell.
