MCFARLAND — Mrs. Barkley (Violet) Aaroen, age 58, of 2544 Evans Road, died on Sunday, May 9, 1982. She married Barkley Aaroen on February 8, 1947, in LaCrosse, and was a Registered Nurse at University Hospitals for over 20 years and later was a Supervisor at Methodist Hospital. She was a member of the McFarland Lutheran Church and the A.L.C.W Surviving is her husband, Barkley; two sons; a daughter; six grandchildren; a brother, Milford Lee of Wilton, Wisconsin; and four sisters, Agnes Thompson of Prairie du Chien, Florence Lawrence of LaCrosse, Ruth DeLacy of McFarland, Esther Johnson of Stoughton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 12 at 1:30 p.m. at MCFARLAND LUTHERAN CHURCH. Burial will be in the McFarland cemetery.
