PINEY FLATS- Nicholas “Nick” Chase Nunley, 35, passed away on Saturday (May 14, 2016). He formerly attended Evangel Family Worship Center where he was saved and became a promise keeper. Nick loved riding motorcycles, fishing, and building houses. He was a dedicated son, father, husband, and friend. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ruby Jane McGrady, paternal grandparents, Floyd Nunley, Jr. and Dorothy Nunley; uncles, Douglas Grady Riner Jr. and David (Blunder) Nunley, brother, Anthony Brian Delp, and great aunt, Mildred Nunley. Nick is survived by his wife, Penny Renee’ Nunley; sons, Nicholas Chase Nunley II of the home, Thomas Heath Tripplett of Rochester, NY, daughter, Alexandra (Alex) Clarice Alfred of Castlewood, VA, father, Darrell Brent Nunley, mother, Roslyn Rene’ Riner, ; brothers, Jason Dewitt Nunley and Steve Lee Nunley; sisters, Rachel “Red” Michelle Christian, Andrea Rene’ Buchanan and her husband, Brandon of Church Hill, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Calvary Church of Boones Creek with Pastor Robbie Hilton officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until the service hour at the church. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday at East Lawn Memorial Park. Everyone wishing to attend is asked to meet at Calvary Church by 12 Noon to go in procession. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hagy, Steve Nunley, David Bigham, JaMichael Fain, Glen Lee, Johnny Lee, Randy Lee, and Randy Lee, Jr. Honorary bearers will be Nicholas Chase Nunley, II, Brandon Buchanan, Bill Olterman, and Lacie Jane Nunley.
