Alvie Culbertson, 90 of Nim Henson Geriatric Center, Jackson d. Oct. 20 at the nursing center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Culbertson was a native of Wolfe County, a retired cook for Wolfe County School system and attended the Church of God.
She was the daughter of the late William Leander and Mary Melissa Spencer Brooks.
Her husband, Raney Culbertson preceded her in death.
Survivors are two sons, Everett Culbertson of Stanford, Kentucky and Stanley Culbertson of Campton; four daughters, Mrs. Maxine Miller of Campton, Mrs. Leona Brown of Camden, Ohio, Mildred Brown of Gratis,Ohio, and Audrey Collins of Richmond, Ind.; 22 grandchildren and 25great grandchildren.
Burial in the Spencer-Culbertson Cemetery at Callaboose in Wolfe County with Porter and Son Funeral Home of Campton in charge of arrangements.
