TUSCALOOSA - Mary Ann Coley, age 69, of Tuscaloosa, died May 23, 2016, at Hunter Creek Health and Rehabilitation. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2016, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Randy Beard officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today, May 26, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Willie Mae Beard; husband, Dewey Coley; and brothers and sisters. Survivors include her one daughter, LouAnn Wood (Charles); one son, Dewey Selven Coley, Jr.; two sisters, Betty Stripling and Shirley Cook (Sonny); three brothers, Michael Beard (Kathy), Theron Beard (Sylvia) and Joel Beard; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Mary was born August 17, 1946. She was raised in Moundville, Ala. Her greatest joy was being a mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life was about her family, going fishing, working puzzle books and playing bingo with friends. But the most of all she enjoyed her God gifts of playing with her babies. Mary believed in Jesus Christ. She will always be loved and missed by all of her special family and friends. Pallbearers will be Jacob Kirk, Jonathan Kirk, Cecil Hydrick, Mark Lott, Chris Beard and Joe Richardson. The family would like to thank all of the nursing staff of Hunter Creek Rehab Nursing Home and everyone that helped her. Also, a special thank you to Randy Beard, Dennis and Peggy Stripling and Charlene Hollinger.
