Curtis Rutledge
Curtis Lowrey Rutledge of Eugene died March 24 of heart failure at age 85. A family memorial service will be later.
He was born on Oct. 7, 1925, in Chillicothe, Texas, to Luther and Emma Parker Rutledge. He married Dorothy Hampel on June 5, 1945, in North Bend.
He served in the Navy for two years. He managed the Klamath Falls McMahan's Furniture for 10 years and was a wood craftsman.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Hampel of Eugene, Dan of Las Vegas and Dale of Portland; two daughters, Darla Watson of Keno and Susan Bucholtz of Eugene; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield. Remembrances to Greenhill Human Society.
