Clarence R. Kohl, 75, R. 1, St. Cloud, died at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, following a prolonged illness.
He was born February 4, 1911, in the town of Sheboygan Falls, a son of the late Charles and Helen Mais Kohl.
On December 22, 1932, he and Rose Kaehm were married at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sheboygan. They made their home in Sheboygan, where he worked at Garton Toy Company and Haupt Transport.
In 1948, they moved to the town of Forest in Fond du Lac County and operated a farm. He also worked for Kiekhaefer Marine in Fond du Lac and the Versch Manufacturing Company, Plymouth retiring in 1973.
Mr. Kohl was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Plymouth.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Bennie (Joyce) Fritz of Plymouth and Mary Lee Petersen of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Zerlina Rautman and Mrs. Melitte Markus, both of Sheboygan and Mrs. Alfred (Esther) Froehlich of Plymouth; and one brother, Russell, Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be at Wittkopp Funeral Home, Plymouth, with Rev. Thomas Burton, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Plymouth.
