Earl W. Bernhardt, age 74, of 7136 Tannery Rd., town of Two Rivers, died
unexpectedly Monday evening, September 25, 2000, at his residence.
It was Earl's wish to be cremated and to have a Family Memorial Service
with Rev. Roberta Thompson officiating.
Earl was born December 7, 1925, on the Bernhardt Home Farm, son of the
late William and Louise Fischer Bernhardt. He was a graduate of Mishicot
High School, On May 24, 1947, Earl married the former Dorothy Lepich. He
was then employed as a fieldman for the County Cooperative, then farmed
in the town of Two Creeks until taking over the family farm. While
farming he drove school bus for 13 years.
Earl is survived by his wife of 53 years. Dorothy; one son and
daughter-in-law, Dale and Marla Bernhardt, Mishicot; three daughters and
two sons-in-law, Susanne and Dale Sanborn, Mishicot, Jean Avery, Two
Rivers, Carol and Bruce Berres, Mishicot; ten grandchildren, Bill
Bernhardt, Jackie (Dale) Kintgen, Jody Samz, Sherry Samz, Michelle
(Randy) Skubal, Joe (Lisa) Buchner, Shawn Avery, Rebecca Avery, Jenny
Berres, and Julie Berres; four great grandchildren, Brandon, Tanner, and
Makenna Skubal, Hailey Buchner; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald
and Kay Bernhardt, Manitowoc. He was also preceded in death by a step
mother, Anna and a brother, Glenn.
The Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
