In 1953, Bud enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he proudly served until 1956. On October 3, 1953, he married Geri Haevers. Bud was employed by Bay West Paper as Plant Manager. He knew everyone and his personality was larger than life. Bud was a passionate member of New Horizons Senior Band in Naples for 10 years. He enjoyed everything in life and lived it to the fullest. Some of his favorite pastimes were sailing, traveling, and fishing. His family was his world.
Bud is survived by his wife of 62 years, Geri; two daughters, a son, and a son-in-law, Pam and Steve Goodreau, Jay Baldwin, Renee Baldwin; three grandchildren, Ben (Heidi), Andy, Megan (Tim); five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister.
Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave. (one quarter mile east of the corner of Cardinal Ln. and Glendale Ave.), from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Rev. John Bergstadt officiating. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family.
