Marcus Vernon Meadows, 57, 4204 Canady St., died Sunday at the Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Riverdale Cemetery
Mr. Meadows was born Oct. 19, 1915, in Coffee County, Ala., a son of the late Lee and Gussie Mock Meadows. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and lived in Columbus 32 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Allene Meadows, Columbus, four daughters, Mrs. Donald Porter, Atlanta, Mrs. Bob Spence, Columbus, Mrs. Billy Sallas, Phenix City, and Mrs. Jack Benbrook, Naples, Fla.; three stepsons, Michael Fennell, Chicago, Ill., Paul Elder, Greenville, S. C. and David Elder, Columbus; two brothers, Jimmy D. Meadows, Enterprise, Ala., and Robert C.
