Mary was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Brady and Rosa Sutton on March 28, 1924, the oldest of five children.

She grew up in a small town outside of West Memphis, Arkansas, and after the ninth grade moved with her family to Kansas City, Kansas.

She married Walter L. Czirr in 1943 and to this union were born one daughter and two sons.
Mary worked briefly durning WWII at Colgate. After the war, she became a full time homemaker. She was baptized in the Church of Christ in the early 1960’s and was a faithful member of the church until her death.

She was a long time member of the Argentine Church of Christ and won many souls for Christ, both locally, and abroad through her work with World Bible Study.

She was more recently a member of the Lenexa Church of Christ. Mary devoted herself to being a caregiver to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends who became her extended family.

She is survived by her brother James Sutton (Joyce), her sons Robert Czirr and Terry (Carrie) Czirr, her grandsons Russ Walker (Marci), Robert Czirr, and Mark Czirr (Janis), and her granddaughters Kathy Luckman (Todd) and Tabatha McGuire (David). She is also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, her daughter Linda Foster, her brother Brady Sutton Jr, and her sisters Annie Bell Clem and Birdie Louise Cornelius.

Mary passed peacefully from this earth into the arms of her Savior on May 20, 2016. Suggested memorial contributions to Sharon Lane Health Services, or Crossroads Hospice of Kansas.
