George W. Goris Jr. 1959 ~ 2012

George William Goris Jr., age 53, returned to his heavenly home on Sunday, June 3, 2012 in Sandy, Utah. He was born on March 16, 1959 in Murray, Utah to George William Goris Sr. and Georgia M. Pappas. George loved planes and worked for years in the aviation industry. He always appreciated the adventure of flying and seeing the world. He enjoyed traveling, working with his hands, restoring cars, good jokes, and spending time with his family and friends. His children were his greatest sources of joy.
He is survived by his mother, Georgia; sister, Diane (Randy) Peck; brother, Jim (Samantha); children, Jessica, Brittany, Gabby, and Alex; and 9 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, George; his daughter, Stephanie; and son, Nick.
The viewing will be held Thursday, June 7th at the Midvale 2nd Ward building, 97 W. 7500 S., Midvale, UT, from 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be held Friday, June 8th at 11:00 a.m. in the same building with a viewing one hour prior to the service.www.goffmortuary.com
