Mr. Cecil F. Fitzgerald, 83, of Laurel, died Oct. 20, 2003, at The Adventist Nursing Home in Lumberton. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel with burial in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Laurel. The Rev. Herschel Bragg and the Rev. Butch Lockard will officiate. He was a retired truck driver and formerly employed with the City of Laurel. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Jones County. Mr. Fitzgerald is survived by his wife, Rosie Lee Fitzgerald, brother, Erma Fitzgerald of Pascagoula; twin sister, Cecile Manasco of California and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
