William was born in MD abt 1760, he married Nancy Amos in 1782. To This union were born six children: James, Amos, John, Christiana, Chalton, and George. He and Nancy were early pioneers in Empire Township, McLean County, IL, they both died there, she in 1826 and him in 1832... Both are
buried in "Old Conaway Farm Cemetery" which was possibly overrun by the constriction of the Interstate Highway 74.
I found Ref to them in "Heritage of a the Prairie: History of Le Roy, IL" pg 11 and 81.
I have not been able to find records that their bodies were
moved to another Cemetery.
If anyone has info to Document his parents or that they are interred elsewhere, Please let me know....
May they both rest in Peace!
God Bless my 4th Great Grandparents
