Morgan Mackenzie Miller, 16, of Stephenson, Virginia, died, Monday, May 23, 2016, at her residence.

Morgan was born in 2000, in Fairfax, Virginia. She is the daughter of Heather J. and William W. Miller, III. Morgan was a sophomore at Millbrook High School in Winchester, Virginia, where she was an honor student and was recognized for receiving all A’s from kindergarten through tenth grade.

Morgan was also a member of the Varsity Cheerleading Squad and Competition Team. She was a competitive gymnast as well as an all-star competitive cheerleader where she traveled extensively including places such as Chicago, Los Angeles and Tennessee.

Morgan will be forever remembered for her love of family, reading and all animals including her dog, Daisy, a Russell Terrier. One of Morgan’s greatest joys was traveling with her family to such places as, Yellow Stone National Park, Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon, the Hoover Dam, Niagara Falls, the Florida Keys, Mount Rushmore, the Badlands of South Dakota and Sequoia National Forest. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her one of a kind spirit.

Surviving with her parents are two brothers, Austin William Miller and Clayton Mason Miller of Stephenson, Virginia; her maternal grandparents, Mason Dwane and Mary Jeanette Walker, of Centreville, Virginia and her paternal grandparents, Lois Ann and William Walter Miller, Jr. of Winchester, Virginia; two aunts, Holly Walker of Centreville, Virginia and Stacey Burtlow and her husband, Tie, of Winchester, Virginia; uncle, Greg Miller and his wife, Tara, of Purcellville, Virginia, as well as many extended family members and close friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 27, 2016, from 4:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Pastor Mike Mayton officiating. Interment will be at Macedonia Church Cemetery, Frederick County, Virginia.

Memorial contributions may be made in Morgan’s honor to the SPCA of Winchester, 115, Featherbed Lane, Winchester, Virgina, 22601.
