Dora Alicia Hinojosa Ross, 68, of LaMarque, Texas, transitioned from this life surrounded by her family in Savannah, Georgia on April 22, 2016.
Ms. Ross was born August 27, 1947 in Brownsville, Texas to Guillermo Hinojosa and Maria del Carmen Trevino Hinojosa.
She is survived by sister Mary Helen Lopez and family; brother Oscar Hinojosa and family; sister Yolanda LaFontaine and family; and her two grandchildren Delano Daugherty and Krishna Montoya; and significant other, Frank Lopez.
She lived most of her life in Galveston County, working for the county court system and raising her three children, Dewayne Ross, Joanna LaHara, and Anthony Montoya and their families.
Her celebration of life service will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2016 following a 1:00p.m. Memorial Service at Unity of Houston, in the Unity Pyramid, located at 2929 Unity Drive, Houston, Texas 77057.
