Joey Paxton Jones, 56 of Lexington, passed away at Hospice of Davidson County. A celebration of Life will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Freedom Baptist Church in Lexington. The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to service.
Joey was born in Madison, West Virginia, on Oct. 28, 1959, to James and Violet Jones. He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife, Pamela; sons Joey Jones II (Laura), Jamie Jones and grandson Zach; father James Jones; sisters Janie Jones (fiance Ray) and Jackie Jones; brothers Jerry (Tammy) and Jeff Jones; nephews Chris and David Jones (fiancee Nikki); niece Casey Jones; great-nephew Noah Jones; and great-niece Alessa Darnell.
