Jimmy was fond of all animals, particularly horses and enjoyed listening to a variety of music. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and when he was able, he loved going to watch dirt track racing and fishing.Â
He is preceded in death by, in addition to his parents, five brothers, Willie, Billy, Bobby, Calvin and Melvin Riddle.
Jimmy is survived by two brothers, Ronnie Riddle and Eddie Riddle; three sisters, Glenda Hollifield, Gloria Hensley and Donna Riddle. He is also survived by his niece, who was also his caregiver, Julie Riddle and her husband, Scott Loftis; great nephew, Jonathan Riddle and his wife, Kristyn and one great-great niece, MaeKayla Riddle.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Cross Memorial Baptist Church with Chaplin Richard Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Murphy's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
