Dale T. Morgan, age 66, of Valparaiso, IN formerly of Steger, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016.

Dale is survived by his son: Dr. Robert (Lauren) Morgan; grandchildren: Kara and Andrew Morgan; mother: Lorabelle Morgan; sisters: Ronna Eisengart and Vicki Smith (Joseph); brother: Scott Morgan; mother-in-law: Minnie Horath, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dale is preceded in death by his wife: Sheila Morgan and father: Thomas Morgan.

Dale recently retired from AAA Insurance after over 35 years of service. Dale was a longtime member of Orak Shrine Temple in Michigan City, IN and was currently serving his term as Potentate of Orak Shrine for 2016. He was a member of Westville Lodge #192, F&AM; member of the Royal Order of Jesters; Past President of the Orak Arab Patrol Unit, which was the first unit Dale joined after becoming a Shriner; and a member of the Ushers at the Shriners Hospital in Chicago.

He enjoyed spending time with his son and loved being "Boppa" to his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and his pet companions: Baron and Kasper.

Dale also was veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Geisen Funeral & Cremation Services, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Masonic Service at 7pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Geisen Funeral & Cremation Services, Merrillville, IN with Rev. Dave Kovalow-St. John officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home with cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be given to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 or the Christian Food Pantry, 7 Chicago Street, Valparaiso, IN 46383.
