Besides his wife, four children and 12 grandchildren remain to mourn his loss. The children are:

Richard Briesacher, 215 West 34th street, Belleville
Theodore Briesacher, 213 South 14th street, Belleville
Mr. Briesacher was a member of the Millstadt Evangelical Zion's church.
Mr. Briesacher's parents were born in Germany. The Briesachers were old settlers in St. Clair county, and belonged to a very extensive and numerous relationship. They were farmers by occupation, and were industrious and diligent tillers of the soil, all of them being highly respected people. They were good citizens, and excellent people.
Ed Briesacher resided on the old George Briesacher farm which was located on the Millstadt-Belleville road at a point half way between Millstadt and Belleville. He had a brother by the name of Henry Briesacher who was also a farmer located immediately to the south of the George Briesacher farm on the Millstadt road.
Henry Briesacher reared a large family and quit farming and later lost his life in a railroad accident in Granite City, Ill. His wife was Kate Peter who preceded her husband in death.
Ed Briesacher, the deceased, leaves a large circle of friends. He was very influential in Belleville and in the Belleville neighborhood and his death is deeply regretted and will be universally mourned.
The funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Gundlach chapel, where the boy lies in state, to Walnut Hill cemetery. Rev. Bernhardt Heithaus of Millstadt will officiate.
The pall bearers will be:

Waldo Seifried, Millstadt twp.
