On May 25, 2016 the Lord called his servant Teresa Maxine Shirley home after a short battle with Lung Cancer. She died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends.
Visitation with a Rosary will begin at 7:00pm on Sunday May 29, 2016 with a Funeral Mass on Monday May 30, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Anthony Marie de Claret in Kyle, Texas.
Maxine as she was called by everyone, served St. Anthony Marie de Claret Catholic community.
Maxine was born on November 15, 1938 to Ronald and Clara Webb in Corner Brook, Newfoundland the third of seven children. On August 6, 1955 she wed the love of her life Bobby Gene Shirley. They had three children of their own.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband Bobby and both of her parents, and is survived by her children Ursula "Nan" DeGhelder, Rachel Shirley, Stephen Shirley, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Maxine was a good and faithful servant.
