Mrs. Barbara Jean Thompson, 68, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

Survivors include her children, William J. Purcell,Sr.(Anita), Laura A. McDonald, Phillip R. Purcell(Mindy), all of Indianapolis; two brothers; four sisters; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 E. Hanna Ave., Indianapolis. Calling will be from noon to service time, Interment will follow the funeral at New Crown Cemetery.
