Brandon G. Cooper of Cozad passed away May 27, 2016 at Cozad Community Hospital at the age of 34. Brandon was born April 16, 1982 at Denver, Colorado to Ron and Sandra (Pacheco) Cooper. Brandon grew up in Cozad and attended Cozad High School. On April 6, 2013, he married Jennifer Thieman and to this union they were blessed with their son and daughter. Brandon worked as a farm hand for Trudy Geiger and most recently for the United States Postal Service in Gothenburg, Ne. His greatest joys were spending time with his children, family, and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and camping. Brandon was an inspiration to all while he battled his many health complications. He faced each battle with strength and courage. He will always be remembered for his open arms and his willingness to help anyone in need. He will be missed by many. Brandon was preceded by his mother, Sandra. Survivors include his wife, Jenni Cooper of Cozad; children, Garrett and Trinity Cooper of Cozad; father, Ron Cooper of Cozad; brother, Clay (Stacey) Cooper of Cozad; sister, Charity (Tom) Dunphy of Gothenburg; sisters-in-law, Shannan (Bryon) Myers of Cozad, Kellie (Lane) Broumley of Pleasanton, Carrie (Dave) Meyer of Cozad; mother-in-law, Rita (David) Thieman of Cozad. Uncle Brandon will be missed by Ashland & Dylan Cooper, Avery, Bethany & Brogan Dunphy, Riley & Jenn Gainsforth, Samantha Myers, Jakob Meredith, Faith & Samson Broumley, Kiley & Marissa Meyer and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Cozad Cemetery. Berryman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
