Maida L. Adcock, age 94, of Greenville passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Helia Healthcare. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 1 PM from Young Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday after 12 noon at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Bond County Hospice.

Maida was born May 15, 1922 in Fayette County, IL to Fred and Etta (Butz) Willis. She married Marvel B. Adcock on June 23, 1951 in Mulberry Grove. He died January 18, 2015. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Ridens of New Douglas, IL, her grandchildren Tiffany Martin and Andrew Ridens, and her great grandchildren Destiny Smith, Claire Ridens, Joshua Ridens, Faith Martin, and Madison Ridens. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Sandra Sue Adcock, her sisters two Elizabeth Ellsworth and Dorothy Blankenship, along with her 4 brothers Ralph Willis, Rod Willis, William Willis, and Earl Willis.

She grew up in the Mulberry Grove area and moved to Greenville after her marriage. She was a homemaker.
