Janet Marie Gray, 78, of Boggstown, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at her home.

She was born August 16, 1937, in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of Charles William and Mildred Marie (Perkins) Mann. On October 6, 1956, she married her husband of 59 ½ years, William Duane Gray, and he survives.

Janet is also survived by her daughters, Debra Davidson and husband, John, of South Haven, Michigan, Rhonda Parsons and husband, Jeff, of Gun Lake, Michigan, and Susan Borkes and husband, Randall, of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania; son, Michael Gray of Boggstown; brother, James Mann and wife, Joanne, of Taylorsville; sisters, Ruth Ann Henderson of Edinburgh, and Shirley Hash and husband, Gerald, of Greenwood; grandchildren, Kyle Patterson and wife, Loren, Kara Torres and husband, Elias, Natalie Jones and husband, Terry, Bryan Parsons, Ross Parsons, Jason Borkes and Adam Borkes; great-grandchildren, Shawn Sanders, Marcus Torres, Sophia Torres and Will Patterson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sue Carol Walker; and brothers, William Mann and Wendell Mann.

Janet was a member of Bengal Christian Church.

She was an avid quilter, making over 100 quilts. Janet also enjoyed gardening and canning her produce. She was an awesome cook and enjoyed baking.

Janet was formerly a 4-H leader.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and devoted her life to her family.
