Hazel Hoover

Hazel was born in Webster County, Kansas to Alva and Fern Simnitt. She is survived by her son Randy (Lisa), daughter Renee (Walter), three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of friends at the Puyallup Senior Center and 1st Assembly of God Church of Puyallup where she played the organ for over 40 years. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Volney Hoover. There will be a time of visitation at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup on Friday, May 27, from 3:00 until 7:00 PM. A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, June 4 at 1:00 at the Sound Life Church in Tacoma. She will be entombed at Sumner City Cemetery.
