Satellite Beach, FL. At home with his wife, "Mit" and children, Cheryl and Fran at his side, Marion Kennedy lost his battle with lung cancer on Sunday, September 1, 2013. He was born in Sumter, SC on October 19, 1933. Marion and "Mit" made Satellite Beach their home in 1964. Marion was always "doing super", a jack of all trades, and ready to help a friend in need. Through years of coaching Little League, he taught respect, sportsmanship, and self-confidence to hundreds of boys. From Marion, you received honesty, trust, and dependability. Personal pride made his "Kennedy Lawn Service" successful for years. He loved entertaining friends at home and took childish delight in decorating his home for Halloween. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 10:00am at Florida Memorial Gardens.
