Carolyn Ann Dean, age 76 of Paris, TN, died Friday, December 24, 2021, in Cottage Grove, TN.
She was a homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family and took care of each and everyone. Carolyn enjoyed cooking.
Carolyn was born December 16, 1945, in Paris, to the late Doss Dillon and to the late Edna May Winsett Dillon.
She married to Jesse Granville Dean, who preceded her in death March 2, 1994.
Carolyn was survived by her two children, Edna Coulter of Paris and Jo Ann Pallay of Cottage Grove;
one daughter-in-law, Debra Dean of Buchanan;
three sisters, Janice Graves of Paris, Linda Berry of Puryear; and Judy (John) Roberts of Paris;
one brother, James Dillon of Paris;
6 grandchildren, Jessica Pallay, Tyler Pallay, Jason Freeland, T.J. Freeland, Kevin Freeland, and Michael Dean; 4 step grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Jesse Dean; one grandchild, Michael Dean; three sisters, Borenda Blackburn, Helen Dillon, and Faye Myers; and one brother Roy Dillon.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Friday, December 31, 2021, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be Friday, December 31, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be T.J. Freeland Jason Freeland, Kevin Freeland, and Tyler Pallay.
