David Andrew Belew, 30, of Big Spring died Friday, October 20, 2006, in Big Spring. Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday at Trinity Memorial Park with Ralph Anderson, minister of Birdwell Lane Church of Christ, officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 PM Monday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
David was born April 12, 1976, in Big Spring to Jacqueline and Richard Belew. He was a lifetime resident of Big Spring, having graduated from Big Spring High School in 1995. David attended Howard College. He was a surveyor for Crim and Bradshaw Engineering. David was hard working and a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He was also a member of the Birdwell Lane Church of Christ.
David is survived by 1 daughter: Jacqueline Marie Belew of Big Spring; mother: Jackie Ervin and her husband Phil of Big Spring; father: Richard Belew and his wife Virginia of Big Spring; 3 brothers: Coby Williams and his wife Margie of Big Spring; Lane Belew and Allan Belew both of Wichita Falls; 3 nephews: Hunter Williams, Kip Williams, and Jake Williams, all of Big Spring; 1 niece: Emily Belew of Wichita Falls; grandmother: Fayrene Williams of San Angelo; 2 uncles: William Belew and Marshall Williams; and a number of cousins.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents: E. D. "Pete" Belew and Agnes Rhyne Belew; Effie and Paul Weeks; Jack Williams.
Pallbearers will be Paul George, J. C. Moore, Brandon Johnson, Joe Owens, Keith Monger, and Shawn Eason.
