Funeral for Mrs. Virginia, Gravley, 64, of 1717 SW Park Ave., will be Monday, at 1:30 p.m. from the chapel of Trinity Episcopal Church. Private interment will follow in Riverview Abbey.
Mrs. Gravley, whose maiden name was Virginia McDonough, was born in Eau Claire, Wis., Sept, 2, 1898 [sic], but soon moved to Portland, where her grandfather, Warren E. McCord, was a pioneer in the lumber industry.
She attended St. Helens Hall School and Chevy Chase Junior College in Maryland. She was the widow of James J. Gravley, president of the Alemite Company of the Northwest and the daughter of the late Mrs. Grace Von Egloffstein.
Survivor sinclude son James of Portland; daughters, Miss Virginia Gravley of New York and Mrs. William F. Rapson of St. Louis; and five grandchildren.
